Deputy captain of the Ghana black stars Andre Dede Ayew made most Muslims around the nation proud of him for displaying an act of being a true Muslim at the Unity match played yesterday the 11th of June 2016.
Andre Ayew refused to take a bite of the birthday cake offered by the mayor of Accra Alfred Oko Vanderpuye who happened to celebrate his birthday a day before the match but decided to celebrate with the stars saying "please I'm fasting"
Alfred Vanderpuye called on the deputy captain to help him cut his birthday cake which happened a day earlier but decided to celebrate it with the stars yesterday .
His actions got a lot of admirers hailing him for displaying how true a Muslim he is.
Andre Ayew deputed for injured captain Asamoah Gyan at the Unity match which was played yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
