I've always had serious " headache" as to how my fellow Muslim youth dress these days.
Always giving a serious thought about how to solve these issues of inappropriate dressing,
I finally made serious analysis and came out with many conclusions. Some of which including training more Islamic fashion designers who'll deal basically on 'modest' Islamic dressing. Another idea that came into my mind was Muslim store owners included stylish garments in their stores and advertising them using the mass media. Also sponsoring media people to wear the Islamic garment when hosting programs especially those working in electronic media. Finally I asked myself "why not a beauty pageant?"
The reason for the question is that; with the many beauty pageant,s our Islamic culture and will be pushed forward. This is because there will be show case of our garments which I think will 'sell' our garments.
With the organizing process, we can consider the procedure below;

- THEME: The theme can be, "we are just trying to show the world that Islam is beautiful", "We are free and Islam is our pride" amongst others.
- GOING THROUGH SPIRITUAL TRAINING: Contestants participating will be trained as to how to do thing in the Islamic way. such as what to wear at the right time, what to recite when doing what, how to keep the home in the Islamic way and so on.
- WAKING UP EARLY TO PRAY WITH OTHER SISTERS:
- RECITATION OF THE QUR'AN AND THE HADITH AND ALSO ISLAMIC POEMS: Assignment will be given to each delegate to read on the final day of the competition.
- DISPLAY OF ISLAMIC GARMENTS: Garments such as swim suits, dinner wear, corporate wears, sports wears among others.
- DROP BIKINI: With all the controversies the bikini has brought in the pageant industries, I propose it should be replaced with swim suits. like the one below.
